There are main two types of  method framework construction on gulets in Turkey.First one is building sticking on woods to each others completely and cover its strake.The shape of framework structure of gulet (posta) are includes about 9 stratums and they are taking their shapes in framework without cutting.There is a speacial method to give shape to these pieces..They are  sticking on  each others and give these thick 9 stratums tapes shape with vices.And they are keeping under sun some days. After all these working they are assembling to framework structure (posta ,boylama kuşak)one by one.And after all framework construction builders cover gulet’s strake.The best way and the most expensive(more handmade working and more material for use like speacial glues) way of the building gulets’framework.You can see stages of that.

We’re giving shape to these woods like on photo without cutting with help of vices.You can see stratums which takes that shape without cutting any part of them.

POUNDING WOODS TO EACH OTHERS

The other way is pounding system.Firstly woods are cutting some pieces.Than we are  pounding and screw these woods to each others.And that one has more less handmade working than the other method.And sure need less time to finish it.But exactly its mean is not that; its so easy to build framework with that way.It has hardness like all handmade wood working.
